Zerodha, a stock broking firm, experienced another technological snag on Friday, with several users of its trading app Kite reporting frozen screens and other troubles.
Users took it to social media platform X, stating that Zerodha’s broking platform had entirely stalled, causing them problems for a short time. According to sources, the broking platform has resumed normal operations following the interruption.
This is the second outage in only 15 days; earlier this month, Zerodha had a technical difficulty when the Indian stock market benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, reached new highs on June 3 following the announcement of Lok Sabha election exit polls 2024.
Zerodha users expressed their dissatisfaction on X with today’s technical breakdown.
CA Vivek Khatri stated in a post, “Zerodha Hang!!! We have already shifted to another platform. There are too many difficulties in #Zerodha.”
