Leading financial services provider IIFL Securities Limited, formerly India Infoline Limited, has named Nemkumar H as its next Managing Director (MD) for a term of five years, from May 15, 2024.
His current role on the board of the company is Whole-time Director. He took over for R. Venkataraman, who held the positions of Chairman and MD. His tenure as the company’s MD came to an end on May 14, 2024.
Narendra Jain has been selected by the firm as a Whole-Time Director for an additional five years.
About Nemkumar H:
- He is a qualified chartered accountant (CA) who has been employed as an equity analyst with CLSA Limited (formerly known as Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia) for almost ten years. He was the country head and head of research at CLSA at the same time.
- He began his career in the corporate treasury and pricing departments of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), where he spent eight years.
- He became a founding member of IIFL’s Institutional Equities Business when he joined in 2007.
